We clear the chaos.
Leadership teams don't fail for lack of talent. They fail because of chaos - confusion about direction, reaction instead of strategy, and cultures that haven't kept pace with change. For 35+ years, TAGA Consulting has helped leadership teams move from confusion to focus, and reaction to intention.
The Promise
“We clear the chaos so leadership teams move from confusion to focus, and reaction to intention.”
At TAGA Consulting, we don't deliver inspiration and leave. Our practice is informed by my works as a licensed psychologist and practitioner. We work inside organizations, diagnosing the root of the chaos, intervening at the system level, and staying until the shift holds. The work is diagnostic-first, behavioral, systemic, and built for the long run.
Diagnostic-first
Start with the root cause of the chaos, not the symptoms leadership has learned to manage.
Behavioral
Change what leaders actually do under pressure, not just what they say in the room.
Systemic
Intervene where strategy, culture, and human dynamics meet, because that's where the shift holds.
Built for the long run
Stay until the change is embedded. No inspiration and exit.
The Method
The method behind the promise.
Clearing the chaos isn't a slogan, it's a discipline. Two signature methods, grounded in psychology and informed by academic training at Harvard, Michigan, and Penn, define how the work is done and what it leaves behind.
The How
Leadership Therapy™
A psychologically informed, systems-based approach to working with leaders and teams. It gets beneath the surface behavior to the real patterns driving confusion and reactivity, so leaders see clearly, decide with intention, and lead through complexity with both rigor and compassion.
- Psychologically informed
- Systems-based
- Rigor with compassion
The Destination
Circular Leadership™
A systems-based, evidence-driven model for organizational health, performance, and sustainable growth. It aligns culture and strategy so the shift holds, leadership that endures long after the engagement ends. It's the model Dr. Gordon explores publicly on the Living Leadership Podcast: circular leadership, lived out loud.
- Systems-based
- Evidence-driven
- Built to endure

Who We Work With
Built for the institutions that shape communities.
Four sectors, one recurring pattern: talented leaders navigating change faster than the systems around them can adapt.
Healthcare
Clinical leaders promoted without leadership development; succession gaps and workforce strain leaving the leadership layer running on empty.
Sports & Front Offices
Brilliant specialists, no shared leadership culture. The talent is there; the clarity isn't.
Government
Vacancy crises, burnout, and AI-driven change forcing leaders to react instead of lead.
Public Sector & Nonprofits
Passionate, mission-driven leaders with fractured direction and no development infrastructure to support them.
Solutions
How the work gets done.
Every engagement is a different form of the same work, diagnosing the chaos, intervening at the right level, and building leadership that holds.

About Dr. Gordon
Meet Dr. Thomas A. Gordon.
Dr. Thomas A. Gordon is a licensed psychologist and executive advisor who has spent 35+ years working inside the institutions that shape communities - health systems, government agencies, sports organizations, and public sector foundations. He brings a practitioner's precision to the moment leadership teams need to stop managing the noise and start moving with intention.
His work is grounded in two signature methods, Leadership Therapy™, a psychologically informed way of working with leaders, and Circular Leadership™, a systems-based model for lasting organizational health. Trained at Harvard, Michigan, and Penn, he sits at a rare intersection: the depth of an organizational psychologist, the lived experience of a Black practitioner who has led inside and alongside predominantly white institutions for decades, and cross-sector credibility that makes him a pattern-recognizer, not a niche specialist.
Colleagues and clients describe him as humble, deeply human, and relentlessly committed to the growth of others.

The Living Leadership Podcast
Circular leadership, lived out loud.
Dr. Gordon hosts the Living Leadership Podcast, where global vision meets local impact, with practical frameworks for leadership, personal growth, and life mastery.
Begin the work
Let's talk about the chaos, and what it would mean for your team to move with intention.
A first conversation is exploratory, confidential, and free. We'll spend the time understanding what is actually happening and whether working together makes sense.
